FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How long does it take?
A typical appointment lasts about two hours. You will fill out some quick paperwork and we will discuss your desired look. We will take a before picture, apply numbing cream, then let you relax for about 30 minutes. After that we will draw on a shape using various measuring tools. Next we will then choose a color together and then start the procedure. The microblading procedure takes about 30 minutes. After we are done we will take your after picture, go over aftercare instructions and then you are on your way! Then we will see you back for your second session in about six to eight weeks.
Does it hurt?
Not really. We cannot guarantee a completely discomfort-free experience, but most clients say, “It’s really not bad at all.” We use a variety of topical numbing creams before and during the procedure.
What is the healing process like?
The healing process takes about 10 days. During this time your brows will go from dark to light then back again. You may experience some flakey, patchy looking brows as the tattoo is healing. You will need to do your best to keep the area clean, dry and away from direct sunlight during the 10 days. Two sessions are required for brows and occasionally a third is needed depending on your desired look, skin type and starting point. Please plan accordingly if you have a special event coming up.
