Why do you need my credit card information before I book an appointment?

Our cancellation policy requires a form of payment to be on file in order to reserve an appointment. If an appointment is canceled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours notice of the scheduled appointment time, 50% of that service will be charged/due. If you arrive 15 or more minutes late for your appointment, your appointment may be canceled and you may be charged the no-show fee. If we are still able to accommodate you, your service will be shortened. If you no-show/no-call for your appointment, 100% of the service price will be charged/due.

Should I tip?

Tipping is never expected, but always appreciated. Gratuity for your service provider(s) can be added at the checkout desk, in cash or via credit card.

Where can I park?

There is metered 1-hour parking right outside the spa, on Main St. There is a metered 5-hour lot around the corner of the spa, off of Main St.

Can I schedule a service for someone else?

Yes! If you’re booking online, there is an option to book for another person. If you’re scheduling over the phone, just mention it, and we’ll take care of it for you.

Do you accept walk-ins?

No, we are an appointment-only spa. You’re more than welcome to walk in, say hi, and schedule something!

How can I buy a gift card?

Gift cards can be bought at this link, or in person at the spa.

Do you offer med spa services like injectables or laser hair removal?

No. Medical spas must be run under the supervision of a medical doctor, as it incorporates procedures that require medical oversight. Beau Visage is a day spa, but we do have many results-oriented treatments, if that’s what you’re looking for.

Do you have any promos running right now?

We probably do! Check our Instagram, Facebook, or call the spa.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, all major credit/debit cards, and any tap-to-pay merchant services like Apple Pay and Samsung Pay.

What services are included in the membership?

Any facial treatment under $300 is included in your monthly benefits. Members can also use their credit on a back treatment or a kid’s facial. If you want to schedule additional services, you’ll receive 15% off!

Can I share the membership with someone else?

Yes! Anyone in your household can share your Beau Visage Spa membership benefits.

How do I start a membership?

Memberships cannot be initiated online, so if you’d like to start a membership, call the spa or stop in!

I’ve never had a facial before. Where should I start?

We recommend starting with a Custom European Facial. It can be taken in whatever direction you’d like! If you want a more relaxing, quiet facial, or if you’d like a more results-driven, educational service, that’s the place to start. Then, you can talk to your esthetician about what facial treatment would be a good fit for you.

How far apart should my wax appointments?

In order to achieve some long-term hair thinning in the area, clients should book wax appointments 4-6 weeks apart. Any closer together, and there won’t be anything to wax. Any later than 6 weeks and it’s like starting from square one. That’s why we offer discounted Brazilian wax appointments if you book 4 weeks out!

Should I talk during my wax? Is that awkward?

Talk as much or as little as you’d like! Our estheticians often say the best conversations happen in the wax room. We’re trained to handle those pre-wax jitters. 

How should I prepare for my waxing appointment?

Wear loose-fitting clothing that you can remove and/or move to access the waxing area. Don’t shave for at least two weeks before you arrive.

Is it true that hair will grow back thicker after waxing?

This is a myth! Waxing can reduce the volume of hair present, but it will not alter its thickness or growth rate.

Can I get waxed when I’m on my period?

It’s no problem getting waxed if you are on your period. Just wear a tampon, and you’re good to go! If you’re unable to wear a tampon, reach out to us and we’ll accommodate you.

What’s the difference between brazilian, bikini, and brazini waxing?

Here’s how we describe the difference. A brazilian wax is the full removal of hair in the front and a butt strip. A bikini wax is just a removal of the hair on the bikini line. A brazini is a combination of the two; removing the bikini line, slightly further in, and the butt strip.

I get bumps after I wax. What can I do to prevent this?

The key to waxing aftercare is exfoliation. Exfoliation helps keep ingrown hairs at bay, and reduces irritation after a wax. We offer a variety of products to calm and exfoliate the skin. Ask about them at your next appointment!

What should I wear to my spray tan appointment?

Try to opt for loose, dark-colored clothing. Get all your shaving and exfoliating done at least 24 hours before your tan. Unlike other sunless tans, NUDA’s formula doesn’t leave you sticky, so if you can’t wear the “ideal” outfit, don’t worry.

How far apart should my spray tan appointments be?

Most people schedule spray tans one week apart. That’s the sweet spot. Waiting any longer could leave some patchiness in the tan.

How much do I have to undress for a massage?

Undress to your level of comfort. Some clients opt to keep some clothes on, so we suggest wearing loose clothes. Now is not the time to wear that new bodycon outfit.
